Job Summary
Part II Architectural Assistant Job Fulham is available with a boutique architecture practice in London. The role is within the Architecture sector, working on contemporary high-end residential refurbishments and new builds.
You will support private client and developer projects in prime London locations. This position offers exposure across all RIBA stages, with supported in-house development. Projects include townhouse refurbishments, mews houses, and refined residential schemes in exclusive areas.
You will produce working drawings, support planning applications, and assist with construction packages. The role suits a motivated assistant seeking detailed project experience within a design-led environment. Role & Responsibilities
- Work across all RIBA stages on high-end residential schemes in prime London locations
- Produce accurate working drawing packages for refurbishments, new builds, and detailed residential projects
- Support job running duties across two to three live projects at the same time
- Prepare planning applications and listed building applications with clear drawings and supporting information
- Develop construction packages, technical details, and coordinated information for project delivery stages
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors while supporting communication throughout each project
- Report to Directors on project progress, deadlines, technical issues, and design development
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum of four years post qualification experience within an architectural or design-led practice
- Relevant architectural degree with Part II qualification or an equivalent professional architectural background
- Experience working on high-end residential projects within London and prime residential locations
- Ability to produce planning submissions, listed building applications, construction packs, and detailed drawings
- Vectorworks experience is desirable, although applications without this software will be considered
- Confident liaising with clients and contractors while supporting smooth project communication and coordination
- Strong technical detailing ability with interest in interior design for high-end residential homes
- Proven job running experience with motivation to develop within a high-profile architectural environment
Salary & Benefits
- £32,000 – £40,000
- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
