Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of fire risk assessment projects ensuring compliance with legislation and internal frameworks
• Conduct site inspections across complex and high-risk buildings to assess fire safety risks
• Produce detailed fire risk assessment reports to a high professional and technical standard
• Manage key client relationships and act as a trusted advisor across multiple project portfolios
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of fire risk assessment processes and frameworks
• Mentor junior consultants and support their development through structured training and guidance
• Coordinate project timelines and ensure all service level agreements are consistently achieved
• Assist with commercial management including monitoring profitability and project performance

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum five years experience conducting fire risk assessments across a range of building types
• Demonstrable experience managing teams and supporting development of technical staff members
• Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and relevant compliance standards including BS8674
• Ability to produce high-quality technical reports with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Professional membership with a recognised fire safety body at member level or above
• Level 5 fire safety qualification or actively working towards achieving this qualification
• Strong communication skills with ability to engage clients and present technical information clearly
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with effective time and workload management

Salary & Benefits

• Salary range of £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience and qualifications
