Among the lots, Hyde has also set up a preferred contractor list and these chosen firms could potentially share a £250million work pipeline. Some of the construction Partners included in this list are; AMCM Group, Bennett Construction, Buxton Building, Chartway Group, Bugler Developments, Cablesheer, Drew Smith, Kier London, McLaren Construction, PMC Construction, Westridge Construction, Thomas Sinden and that’s just to name a few.

Firm Thomas Sinden has won two of the lots and Business Development Director Paul Cooke says: “As an organisation we have a great deal of expertise and experience delivering mixed tenure residential developments as well as commercial projects and look forward to working closely with Hyde, its subcontractors and stakeholders to deliver its planned development programme.” (1)

The new housing strategy is expected to be delivering at least 50% of the development programme as private rent to reinvest in providing additional affordable homes as well as housing for sale.
