Visiting the biggest marketing trade show of 2019

Fern & Louise at the Expo entrance

Marketing Manager Louise and Marketing & Finance Assistant Fern enjoyed a day out this week at the largest marketing and sales event in the country – incorporating five industry changing shows under the same roof.

With some exciting seminars taking place, along with meeting a giant fox and astronaut, our marketing experts were able to absorb a wealth of knowledge that they have brought back to the office to help our clients and candidates find the right job.

About the five expos

Hosted at ExCel in London, the five expos included the B2B Marketing Expo, MTEX Marketing Technology Expo, Sales Innovation Expo, Call & Contact Centre Expo and C+UX Customer + User Experience Expo.

According to the event organisers, “these events aim to connect the most proactive marketing professionals with the tools, techniques and innovations they need to be at the forefront of the ever-evolving world of marketing.”

The events feature over 500 seminars from speakers from top brands including LinkedIn, HubSpot, Sage, JustGiving and John Lewis.

What we thought…

Hunter Dunning Marketing Manager, Louise Wilkie said: “This event was a great opportunity to get some insights into new developments in marketing and technology as well as meet some current and potential suppliers. We made some great new contacts during the show and hope we can make the most of these relationships to make our customers’ journey even better.”

Hunter Dunning Marketing & Finance Assistant Fern Hutchinson said: “As someone who is relatively new to marketing it was highly beneficial for me to attend the seminars and speak to companies about training available and what they have to offer us as a company.”

Hunter Dunning is committed to staying one step ahead of the industry – both in recruitment and in our niche sectors. We regularly attend events to ensure we have the latest insights which we can then pass on to our candidates and clients.
