Role & Responsibilities
- Support the design and delivery of urban design and masterplanning projects across multiple stages.
- Produce high-quality drawings, visualisations and presentation materials to communicate design proposals effectively.
- Collaborate with planners, architects and consultants to develop coordinated and integrated design solutions.
- Contribute to concept design, design strategies and supporting project documentation.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders, supporting consultations, workshops and project discussions.
- Assist with project management tasks including programme coordination and team communication.
- Support preparation of reports and documentation for planning and design submissions.
- Maintain design quality and consistency across project outputs and deliverables.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum two years experience working in urban design and masterplanning within a UK practice environment.
- Strong conceptual and design skills with a creative approach to placemaking and sustainable development.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and 3D modelling software for design production.
- Excellent graphic, written and verbal communication skills for presenting design ideas clearly.
- Relevant qualification such as a Master’s in Urban Design or RIBA Part 2 with relevant experience.
- Experience working across multiple project stages from concept through to detailed design.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and contribute to shared project outcomes.
- Interest in project management and bid support activities would be advantageous.
