Trainee Land Buyer Job in Lancashire

My client has a Trainee Land Buyer job available in Lancashire. This regional housebuilder are looking to speak to graduates or candidates with some experience in land or town planning.

As the successful Trainee, you’ll be working closely with the land team to identify new land opportunities across the North West. This region currently builds circa 300 units per year with the view to increase to 400+ within 2 years. You’ll be tasked with assisting in identifying and progressing opportunities from Warrington to Lancaster, and across the northern parts of Manchester.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying land opportunities
  • Assist with negotiating terms for the acquisition
  • Help prepare and submit land approval packs
  • Build and maintain relationships with landowners and agents
  • Manage the offer process
  • Support the Land & Planning Director.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Ideally educated to a degree level of a relevant course
  • Previously worked for a housebuilder would be an advantage
  • Keen interest in land and planning.

What you get back

  • £25,000 – £30,000 DOE
  • Bonus.
