Topographical Surveyor / Measured Surveyor job in Sevenoaks, Kent / Remote / Site Based

Topographical Surveyor / Measured Surveyor job for a reputable multidisciplinary consultancy based in Sevenoaks, Kent. This role is offered on an initial fixed-term contract of 12 months, and you will be carrying out measured building surveys using Leica Total Station TS06 across England on Residential/high-rise buildings. Although their office is in Sevenoaks, the role will be remote and visiting sites across England. Salary £30,000 – £55,000 + Bonus (paid extra for each survey carried out) + Mileage. To be considered you must have practical work experience in transferring levels either as a Topographical Surveyor, Land Surveyor or Measured Surveyor.

The consultancy offers a multitude of services including project management, surveying, cost consultancy, and design management, and specialise in residential, affordable housing, major regeneration and remedial projects for developers, RPs, and Local Authorities. Made up of around 100 employees and 4 offices, they are continuing to grow with a strong pipeline of work across mainly London, Midlands and the Southeast.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Establishing levels of existing residential/High-rise buildings using Leica TS06 Total Station
  • Report generation
  • Regular liaison with the Director and Senior Surveyors.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Some experience as a Measured Surveyor, Land Surveyor / Topographical Surveyor
  • Experience using Total Station Leica TS06 and understanding of the methodology of transferring levels
  • There will be some requirement for overnight stays and travel across England so flexibility to travel is a must
  • Must have a UK Driving Licence and own car.

  • Salary £30,000 – £55,000
  • Bonus incentive (additional payment for each survey carried out)
  • 33 days holiday including Bank Holidays, Birthday and Christmas
  • Mileage paid.
