Role & Responsibilities

• Provide design specifications for residential developments ensuring compliance with planning and regulatory requirements
• Manage multiple projects across various stages from feasibility through to construction delivery
• Support the regional technical director and wider technical team with project coordination and strategy
• Oversee production of working drawings ensuring accuracy quality and alignment with development requirements
• Manage external consultants including architects engineers and specialist advisors across project lifecycles
• Assist in detailed planning applications supporting successful approvals and project progression
• Contribute to land feasibility studies and technical assessments for potential development opportunities

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience as a technical manager or design manager within a national or regional housebuilder environment
• Extensive experience in design construction and project management of civil engineering and infrastructure works
• Strong knowledge of construction processes across low-rise housing and complex apartment developments
• Working knowledge of planning procedures development control and building regulations requirements
• Expert understanding of CDM regulations and technical compliance within residential development projects
• Experience preparing feasibility studies fee budgets and land purchase documentation
• Relevant degree qualification in engineering construction management or similar with professional membership preferred

Salary & Benefits

• Salary of up to £79,500 depending on experience and suitability for the role
• 20 percent bonus based on performance and company objectives
• £6,700 car allowance or company car provided as part of the package
