Technical Associate - Winchester Hampshire

I am currently looking to speak with Senior Architectural technicians / Technologists who are passionate about taking the next step up in there career. This role will require you to manage high-level projects at Associate level and is a standout opportunity for someone that is hungry for professional development. In addition to this, the long term plan will be to progress you to board level, therefore this is a fantastic time to join this well-established practice.

Based in the city of Winchester in a modern open plan office, the practice has a broad portfolio of work including residential, commercial, retail, leisure, mixed use and industrial projects ranging anywhere from £500k – £75 million in value.
With several major projects coming up and already underway, the practice requires an experienced job running Architectural technician (with the hunger to become Associate), to join the team to be a key part of these projects and ultimately a key part of the practices future.

Role & Responsibilities

You will initially work on the production drawings and site stages of a £40m retail and leisure project for one of the UK’s most important property developer. You’ll be required to take a lead role in the running of projects and will be responsible for more junior members of the technical team.

Required Skills & Experience

Excellent technical design skills
A minimum of 5 years UK professional working experience
Proficient in AutoCAD
Knowledge of Revit is highly desirable
Background of running projects at the technical stages
Minimum 10 years post qualification experience
Able to confidently manage a medium sized team
Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations
Background in Mixed use and retail projects would be highly advantageous

Salary & Package

This salary offers a salary of £39,000 – £50,000 dependent on experience.
