Site Manager Job in Norfolk

Site Manager required for a residential construction site based in Norfolk, working for the development arm of one of the UK’s largest property groups. Offering a salary of up to £70k + Company Car / Car Allowance + 20% Bonus.

Our client is one of the UK’s largest residential development, regeneration, and property management businesses, they have around 12,000 employees, an annual turnover in excess of £800 million and over £4 billion in assets. Established for over 50 years, they provide not just buildings but sustainable communities across the private sector, assisted living, retirement and leisure sectors. The role will involve overseeing all trades on site, reporting to the Build Manager. To be considered you must have multi-unit new build residential experience and site management experience, with current SMSTS and CSCS.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Delivering the budgeted number of plots in line with the business quality standards and on time
  • Overseeing and control activities on-site to deliver Health, Safety & Environmental standards in line with legal requirements
  • Working alongside the SHE team to deliver in line with group procedures
  • Ensuring high standards of quality are achieved throughout all build stages, that the Build Stage Inspection regime is strictly adhered to and that plots are fully completed before presentation
  • Liaising with Contracts Managers and overseeing the activities of sub-contractors to ensure the performance they deliver is in line with their contractual obligations
  • Liaise with customers in a professional manner as required
  • Comply with Site Managers responsibilities as laid down in the Group’s Health, Safety & Environment Policy and complete the relevant documentation on a weekly/monthly basis
    -Liaise with Sales, Technical and Commercial departments ensuring that up to date records of all site activities are retained, thereby achieving cost/quality control; and report on the same to Build Manager/Build Director
  • Lead, motivate, communicate with, develop, appraise and performance manage staff to ensure staff are fully motivated to achieve best performance to meet the company’s needs

Required Skills & Experience

  • Site Management experience for a housebuilder
  • CSCS Card
  • SMSTS Card
  • UK Driving Licence
