Role & Responsibilities

• Handle a range of planning applications across strategic and immediate development projects
• Work on energy infrastructure, waste management, mineral, and commercial planning schemes
• Undertake planning policy research and appraisal work to support development proposals
• Support land promotion strategies and development management processes across projects
• Coordinate and prepare planning applications and Environmental Impact Assessments
• Manage sub consultants and contribute to effective project coordination and delivery
• Undertake site appraisals to assess development potential and planning constraints
• Provide strategic and tactical planning advice to clients and internal stakeholder

Skills & Experience Required

• Chartered Town Planner status with MRTPI accreditation is essential for this role
• Degree qualified in Town Planning or a related built environment discipline
• Minimum five years experience within a planning consultancy or similar environment
• Experience working on energy, infrastructure, or environmental planning projects preferred
• Strong knowledge of UK planning policy, legislation, and development management processes
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining quality outputs
• Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across project delivery
• Full UK driving licence required for site visits and project related travel
