We are currently recruiting for a talented and experienced Architectural Technician or Technical Architect with strong Revit skills to join my client’s Central London studio, and to work initially on a large education project.

This successful architectural practice was founded nearly 50 years ago and has grown to employ around 40 staff across their London and Kent studios, and is still growing! The teams are made up of architects, planners, technologists, conservation specialists, interior designers and support staff. Passionate about design, they work across Education, Residential, Commercial, Community, Healthcare, Heritage and Sustainability projects.

Initially working on a large education project, the practice now requires an experienced Revit Technician or Technical Architect to join the London studio.

**Role & Responsibilities

  • Preparation of building regulations documentation, tender information and construction documentation
  • Managing tender processes; documenting, issuing, analysing and reporting of projects to clients
  • Coordinating work by external consultants and internally with the rest of the team
  • Site inspections, including liaison with contractors and subcontractors, site procedures and documentation
  • Use your architectural and technical detailing experience to assist the existing team to help model live projects.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Fully proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Solid experience working on UK projects
  • Demonstrable understanding of technical detailing, as well as family and library content creation
  • Recent experience of working on large-scale educational buildings
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of construction and technical drawings of UK projects
  • Ideally have experience with Navisworks and Dynamo.
