Senior Project Manager or Associate Project Manager job in East Central London, for a progressive multidisciplinary construction consultancy. This is a great opportunity to join a sociable and growing team at the forefront of modern construction methods. You will be working on a variety of projects across residential and mixed-use for mainly private developer clients. The role offers a competitive and negotiable basic from £60,000 – £80,000 + Bonus + Travel + Hybrid Working.

Established 7 years ago, this construction consultancy is renowned for their modern methods of construction, delivering homes whilst being aware of societal and environmental challenges. Made up of 100 employees across cost management and project management, they serve the residential, affordable housing, BTR, Student Accommodation, Mixed-Use and Later Living sectors. They are a growing consultancy working on predominantly exciting London based regeneration mixed-use schemes of up to £2.5b. They are looking for Associate or Senior Project Manager candidates ideally with a consultancy background, although client side will also be considered.

Role & Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Director taking lead on multiple projects and managing project teams
• Project Lead for one or more projects delivering positive outcomes for clients
• Managing Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers
• Develop a close relationship with clients throughout the duration of the project and future projects
• Work closely with the Cost Management team
• Take strategic responsibility for client outcomes
• Be familiar with the challenges and updates in the real estate and construction industry
• Share industry knowledge gained internally with other team members
• Produce and maintain a project development programme
• Understand and manage effectively from site acquisition to final handover of projects
• Recognise business risk in relation to appointments, scope of services and fee cashflows
• Assist with the production of fee proposals / bids.

Required Skills & Experience

• Ability to lead on largescale schemes from feasibility, construction to handover
• Experienced in leading a project management teams
• Comprehensive technical knowledge across all project work stages
• MRICS or MCIOB or similar or working towards
• Skilled in developing relationships both internally and externally
• Commercial acumen and business risk management experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
