Role & Responsibilities

• Provide professional planning advice to clients across a range of development sectors and project types
• Prepare and submit planning applications, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery
• Collaborate with internal teams including architects and consultants to support integrated project delivery
• Engage with local authorities and stakeholders to manage planning processes and secure approvals
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to cross-selling services across the consultancy
• Monitor and interpret local and national planning policy changes to inform project strategies
• Support Associate Directors and Directors with project delivery and client relationship management
• Mentor junior team members, supporting their professional development and technical understanding

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum three years post qualification experience within private or public sector planning environments
• MRTPI qualified or actively working towards chartership demonstrating commitment to professional standards
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present clear planning arguments
• Experience preparing planning applications and supporting documentation across a range of project types
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and attention to detail
• Strong understanding of UK planning policy and development management processes
• Full UK driving licence with access to a car for site visits and client meetings

Salary & Benefits
