Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Senior Planner to strengthen their planning team.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead site appraisals and evaluations to assess planning potential and development feasibility
• Hold meetings with stakeholders and planning officers to support positive planning outcomes
• Manage full planning applications including reports, statements, submissions, appeals, and supporting documentation
• Liaise with internal land, construction, and technical teams throughout development project stages
• Support planning strategy across care home developments from early feasibility through formal submissions
• Review planning constraints, opportunities, and risks across potential and active development sites
• Maintain accurate project information while supporting timely planning progress across multiple schemes

Skills & Experience Required

• Degree qualified in Town Planning or a similar relevant planning related discipline
• MRTPI qualified or actively working towards chartership through a recognised professional route
• Previous planning experience gained within a local authority or private consultancy environment
• Strong knowledge of the full planning process across development and application stages
• Confident preparing planning reports, statements, submissions, appeals, and stakeholder documentation
• Excellent communication skills when working with planning officers, consultants, and internal teams
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car is required for this position

Salary & Benefits

• Salary offered between £40,000 – £60,000 DOE depending on experience and suitability
• Annual bonus scheme available after completion of the qualifying employment period
