Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed written fee proposals using established templates to support client engagement processes
• Provide clear written and verbal planning advice to guide clients through development opportunities
• Work collaboratively within a team on small to medium scale planning projects
• Support business development activities through networking and maintaining client relationships
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and internal teams throughout project stages
• Assist senior planners and partners on larger and more complex planning projects
• Review planning policies and regulations to inform project strategy and decision making
• Contribute to preparation of planning applications and supporting documentation for submission

Skills & Experience Required

• Chartered Town Planner with RTPI membership and commitment to professional standards
• Experience across a range of planning projects within private and public sector environments
• Strong understanding of UK planning systems and development management processes
• Ability to provide clear planning advice and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
• Experience preparing planning applications and supporting documentation for submission
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and client engagement activities
• Full UK driving licence to support travel to sites and meetings when required
• Organised approach to managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively

Salary & Benefits

• Salary between £40,000 and £60,000 depending on experience and level of responsibility
