Senior Landscape Architect Job in Central London

My client has a Senior Landscape Architect job available, with a rapidly growing multi-disciplinary consultancy to join their office in London. The company works on projects at all scales within town, semi-rural and rural contexts, across a variety of sectors that includes residential, historic sites and estates, renewable energy, and mixed-use commercial developments.

This multi-disciplinary consultancy operates across the UK with six regional offices situated in the North, East Anglia, London and Essex. Currently a company of 60 but with the growth plans in place to expand the business to 80 in the next 12 months. The services this consultancy offer span across Town Planning, Architecture, Masterplanning, Landscape Architecture and Heritage.

Role & Responsibilities

• Produce and/or oversee the production of reports, drawings and other technical documentation using appropriate software, with the necessary level of detail as required at various stages of development from assessments and strategies to mitigation design
• Be client facing and respond to client requirements with the support of senior staff
• Clear communication, including the ability to contribute to conference calls, meetings, and workshops
• Work collaboratively and iteratively within a multi-disciplinary design team.

Required Skills & Experience

• Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) with up to two years post Chartership experience. Candidates within the last quarter of Pathways to Chartership (P2C) will also be considered.
• Fluency in English and ability to communicate effectively.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of the UK legal and planning system with respect to landscape architecture
• Have the technical ability, knowledge, and competence to provide guidance to teach and develop junior staff
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Cloud software
• Full UK driving license.
