Senior Interior Designer job in Shoreditch, London

A Senior Interior Designer job is now available in London. The ideal candidate will be experienced within the hospitality and F&B sector and will have outstanding concept development and creative skills. This role will see you involved in multiple projects from initial concept stages through to on-site completion.

This practice has been established for almost two decades and has a wealth of experience within its teams across a variety of sectors. They are a creative and contemporary studio that has collaborated with a range of well-known brands to achieve distinctive and unique projects.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Developing design concepts with the assistance of both the branding and interior design team
  • Working with the directors to manage and lead a team of designers of mixed abilities, from Juniors through to Seniors
  • Translating schematic design into design development drawings
  • Liaising with clients directly, ensuring specifications are communicated and expectations are managed
  • Directing and reviewing furniture plans and ensuring that they are in line with architectural, electrical, RCP and lighting plans and other drawings
  • Coordinating staff utilisation/work planning and budget requirements with the Design Director
  • To delegate tasks to team members and mentor when required
  • Produce technical drawings, concept designs, mood boards, and FF&E schedules
  • Develop and present presentations to clients
  • Liaise with third parties and suppliers.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years’ experience in interior design, the majority of which will be in the luxury hospitality sector
  • The ability to lead a design team
  • Strong concept development and presentation skills
  • Good technical skills and knowledge
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, InDesign, SketchUp and Photoshop
  • Good freehand sketching ability.
