Senior Interior Designer Job in SW London

A new Senior Interior Designer job is available in SW London, working on luxury residential and commercial projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced designer within the high-end sector looking to lead projects from initial concept through to installation. Proven experience leading teams and working directly with HNWI is essential. Salary of up to £65,000.

This small studio has grown from strength to strength in the past five years, developing an incredible portfolio of high-end projects in the UK and overseas. They are currently looking for an energetic and self-motivated Senior Designer who is a people person and thrives off managing and mentoring designers and teams. The successful candidate will work on exceptional projects and will have the opportunity and support to develop within the company.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Working/leading national and international projects from initial brief through to installation
  • Producing accurate concept drawings to present to both clients and contractors
  • Working on all FF&E stages
  • Creating detailed specifications and budgets
  • Ensuring that projects are delivered on time and on budget
  • Managing and mentoring junior designers and teams
  • Liaising directly with clients, contractor and suppliers
  • Project management

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience working on luxury residential and commercial/hospitality projects
  • Impeccable client facing abilities and experience
  • Strong skills in concept development, space planning and FF&E
  • Project management and budgeting control experience
  • Experience producing detailed drawings, schedules and specifications
  • Outstanding people management skills
  • Proven experience liaising with contractors, suppliers and third parties
  • Ability to build strong work relationships, internally and externally
  • Ability to read, understand and correct technical drawings along with strong drawing skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English both written and spoken
