Senior Interior Designer / Project Leader - Camden, London

New opportunity to join a well established Architecture & Interior Design studio working on residential, commercial and luxury hospitality projects. A fantastic work-life balance, sociable environment and plenty of room for professional growth available.

Since it’s inception in 2008, this Architecture & Interior Design practice has been specialising predominantly in the residential sector, working on both refurbishment and new build projects for a selection of national and international clients.

As a result of their established reputation, the studio is now venturing into the luxury hospitality sector; with some fantastic bar, restaurant and hotel projects in the pipeline. They are therefore looking for a Senior Interior Designer / Project Leader to join their friendly team and be part of this exciting new chapter.

Role & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from start through to installation with a particular emphasis in the client facing aspects of the projects.

You will be involved in concept development and FF&E whilst also drawing up technical details and tender packages for a variety of projects in the residential and luxury hospitality sectors.

As and when appropriate, you will be asked to join the team on site visits to luxury locations abroad, as well as in the UK.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years interior design experience in the UK
• Ability to take projects from concept design through to completion on site
• Strong technical knowledge & skills
• Experience working on all FF&E stages
• Experience attending client meetings, liaising with clients, suppliers & third parties and building/managing client relationships
• Confidence in presenting schemes is a must
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Knowledge in Revit would be advantageous; but training will be supplied for a candidate willing to learn

Salary & Package

• Salary range of £35,000 – £42,000
• 28 days holiday entitlement which increases by 1 day per year of service (up to 3 extra days)
• A pension scheme from February 2017
