Due to further expansion a Senior Interior Designer with a strong background in workplace/commercial design is required to join a leading architecture and design firm in New York City. The role of Senior Interior Designer will see you involved in all stages of design, from concept to completion, providing creative solutions and working directly with clients. Ideally you will have 10+ years industry experience and be a proficient user of Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp. In exchange, the role is offering a salary of up to $130,000 + benefits.

This well-established architecture and design firm have been providing services to the commercial sectors for over 80 years. Projects range across workplace, healthcare, education, and aviation, to name a few. The team of 600+ are spread across 12 offices, within multiple states in the US, Asia and Europe. This role will be based from their New York office in Midtown Manhattan, working on a full-time permanent basis.

Role & Responsibilities

• To work across the full project life cycle
• Oversee and develop technical drawings/packages
• Assist with client pitches and presentations
• Contract administration duties
• Work with clients from initial contact through to completion
• Fee management and scheduling
• Team leadership and management

Required Skills & Experience

• CIDA Accredited and Registered Interior Designer
• 10+ years’ experience in commercial, workplace or education projects
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Team management experience
• Client-facing experience
