Job Summary
Senior Interior Designer Job Kensington offers an opportunity to join a small, highly collaborative interior design studio. This permanent role focuses on luxury hospitality, residential, Interior Architecture and FF&E projects across international locations. You will lead multiple projects while working closely with Directors, Associates and junior team members. Projects range from award-winning hotel interiors to elegant private homes and large residential properties.
You will manage work from concept through completion while maintaining strong creative and technical standards. The position requires confidence with clients, consultants, suppliers, contractors and specialist fabricators. You must be self-managing, dependable and comfortable taking responsibility within a close-knit team. Strong CAD ability, colour confidence, fabric knowledge and furniture design experience will support your application.

This established British interior design studio is recognised for colourful, tailored interiors combining craftsmanship with contemporary sophistication. Its international portfolio includes award-winning hotels, elegant private homes and substantial residential projects across several global locations. The business operates with a small team of approximately twelve people across London and New York.
Team members work closely together and are expected to manage their responsibilities independently. The wider business also includes a retail shop, creating opportunities to contribute across interiors, furniture and product-focused projects. Role & Responsibilities
- Lead multiple Interior and FF&E projects from initial concept through final completion
- Work closely with Directors and Associates while supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Coordinate confidently with clients, consultant teams, suppliers, contractors and specialist fabricators throughout projects
- Take responsibility for project delivery and maintain a seamless professional service for every client
- Develop creative interior schemes using colour, pattern, fabrics, furniture and specialist material finishes
- Manage project programmes, deadlines, costs and budgets while maintaining agreed creative and technical standards
- Produce and review detailed CAD information, presentations, specifications and technical interior design documentation
- Contribute to hospitality, luxury residential, retail and furniture-related projects across international locations
Skills & Experience Required
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- Demonstrate at least seven years of post-graduate professional interior design industry experience
- Bring a minimum of four years working within the luxury design sector
- Show strong CAD skills alongside full proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Suite
- Provide advanced Interior Architecture knowledge, technical ability and broad understanding of materials and finishes
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of FF&E suppliers, products, fabrics and specialist decorative finishes
- Show experience delivering every project stage from early concept development through final completion
- Communicate clearly through concise written, verbal, visual presentation and client-facing communication skills
