Role & Responsibilities

• Lead interior design projects from concept through technical delivery, ensuring design intent is maintained throughout all RIBA stages
• Develop and present creative design concepts clearly to clients, translating ideas into coordinated technical packages for delivery
• Manage client relationships effectively, ensuring expectations are aligned and communication remains consistent throughout project lifecycle
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate interior design within wider architectural and construction frameworks
• Produce detailed design documentation including specifications, schedules, and bespoke joinery packages to a high standard
• Oversee and support junior and technical team members, ensuring quality control and timely project delivery across all outputs
• Conduct design reviews and contribute to decision-making processes alongside senior leadership and project stakeholders
• Provide guidance to consultants and contractors during design development and construction phases to ensure successful implementation

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 5 years professional experience in interior design with proven delivery across living and workplace sectors
• Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture with strong understanding of spatial planning and material application
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects through all RIBA stages with confident decision-making and technical resolution skills
• Strong client-facing experience with the ability to manage relationships and adapt to changing project requirements effectively
• Proficiency in producing detailed technical drawings, specifications, and bespoke joinery design packages to industry standards
• Working knowledge of British Standards and relevant legislation including building safety requirements and compliance frameworks
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams, building strong relationships and contributing to collaborative project delivery
• Competence in Revit and rendering tools, with awareness of emerging technologies including AI applications
