Senior Interior Architect Job in London

**A Senior Interior Architect job is now available to work with a boutique-size design studio on luxury residential projects. This is a contract position of 3-6 months offering a hybrid work setup and a rate of up to £280/day. **

The practice has an ever-growing portfolio of luxury residential and superyacht projects around the globe. Due to an increase on their workload, they are now looking for an experience Senior Interior Architect to join them on a contract basis. The successful candidate will have experience and must be happy to work on projects from concept through to completion with a bias on the technical stages.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Working on all aspects of projects, from concept development to completion on site
  • Working with contractors and ensuring that designs are executed as per specifications and to the highest standard
  • Producing drawings and tender packages, including creating mood board and layout plans
  • Coordinating with FF&E Designers from scheduling to installation
  • Designing bespoke joinery and furniture, including technical drawings for suppliers
  • Managing and checking information produced by sub-contractors
  • Conducting site meetings with suppliers and contractors
  • Creating full project costing schedules and budgets

Required Skills & Experience

  • An architecture or interior architecture degree
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp & Excel
  • 6+ years’ experience working in high-end residential interiors, including FF&E
  • Strong space planning abilities
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Experience sourcing and specifying products
  • Experience in project execution on-site and communicating and coordinating with building teams
  • Excellent time management
  • Exceptional communication and client relationship skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and as part of a close-knit team
  • Great attention to detail and strong record keeping skills
  • Initiative to generate solutions and alternatives as problems arise
