Senior Fire Engineer job in North London / Hybrid Working, for a reputable multidisciplinary consultancy. Our client is looking for a Chartered Fire Engineer or close to chartered status, to join their growing team with ambitious plans to double in size in the next 2 years. The role offers a competitive and flexible salary dependent on experience and can be discussed prior to an interview.

Established in 2010, they have strong client relationships spanning the residential, education, commercial and healthcare sectors, focusing on excellent service delivery across a wide remit of disciplines including Building Surveying, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Fire Engineering, Structural Engineering, Project Management and Site Inspection. Predominantly their client base sits within the M25 but they also have clients on the outskirts of London.

Role & Responsibilities

• Production of PAS9980 FRAEW for buildings all building heights
• Production of accompanying EWS1 Forms
• Production of fire strategies for existing and proposed residential multi-occupancy blocks
• Ensure compliance approval of approved document B requirements for new developments/refurbishment projects
• Provide design input, due diligence monitoring and sign-off for cladding remediation works
• Provide fire engineering input and advice to colleagues where required
• Represent the company at meetings with clients and other stakeholders where Fire Engineering input is required
• Provide input into Building Safety Case reports under the Building Safety Act as required.

Required Skills & Experience

• Chartered Engineer awarded by the IFE
• RICS EWS1 course
• UK Experience is essential (sponsorship can be provided for international candidates).
