Job Summary
Senior FF&E Designer job in South West London offering the opportunity to lead luxury interior design projects across prestigious residential, hospitality and commercial sectors. This senior position suits an experienced designer with exceptional creative flair, commercial awareness and proven expertise managing complex FF&E packages. Working closely with the Director, you will develop bespoke FF&E schemes, mood boards, sketches and high-quality CGI presentations for discerning private clients.
You will take ownership of multiple projects from initial concept through procurement, installation and completion. Responsibilities include managing budgets, coordinating suppliers, leading client presentations and maintaining outstanding design standards. You will also mentor junior and mid-weight designers, delegate responsibilities and oversee project documentation. The role requires confident decision-making, strong organisation and the ability to deliver under pressure. International travel will be required to support project delivery, client meetings and installations.

This opportunity is with a luxury interior design studio delivering prestigious residential, hospitality and commercial projects. The studio works with discerning private clients, developing bespoke FF&E schemes and exceptional interior environments. Working closely with the Director and the wider design team, the successful candidate will contribute to creative development and project delivery.
The environment requires high standards of creativity, technical accuracy, commercial awareness and organisation. Collaboration between senior, mid and junior designers is central to delivering projects successfully. International travel forms part of the role, supporting client relationships, supplier coordination and project installations across international markets.
Role & Responsibilities

- Lead FF&E delivery across multiple prestigious residential, hospitality and commercial projects from concept through completion
- Develop creative concepts and maintain design excellence throughout delivery
- communicating the creative vision by developing bespoke FF&E schemes, mood boards, sketches and high-quality CGI presentations
- Oversee sourcing, specifications, scheduling, procurement, budgeting, deliveries and installations
- Lead client presentations, design meetings, site visits and supplier coordination with consultants and contractors
- Manage multiple complex projects, maintaining agreed deadlines, budgets, quality standards and accurate project documentation
- Mentor junior and mid-weight designers, delegate responsibilities and maintain collaborative communication across project teams
- Review specifications, schedules and sample libraries while improving studio processes and supporting international project delivery
Skills & Experience Required

- Minimum 5+ years of experience within a luxury interior design studio
- Proven experience leading prestigious residential projects and managing complete FF&E packages from concept through completion
- Exceptional creative ability to develop bespoke FF&E schemes, sketches, mood boards and sophisticated design concepts
- Outstanding visual presentation skills with proven experience producing high-quality presentations
- Extensive knowledge of luxury furniture, lighting, fabrics, finishes, bespoke joinery, custom manufacturing and decorative accessories
- Strong experience in sourcing, specification, procurement, budgeting, installation and commercially responsible project management
- Confident client communication, team leadership and excellent organisational skills
- Advanced proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel internationally
