Senior Design Coordinator – Doncaster South Yorkshire

A successful national house builder is currently looking to take on a Senior Design Coordinator to work on a number of large scale residential projects in its head office in Doncaster.

Our client is a large national house builder, building homes throughout the UK. Since the 1930’s the business has built over 30,000 homes with a development annual development programme of 4000 units and turnover of over £1billion per annum.
This role for a Senior design coordinator would see you help coordinate standard design types across multiple offices.

Role & Responsibilities

• Working directly with the Technical Development Manager
• Direct management of two Architectural Technicians
• Work on the maintenance and updating of standard house types
• Work on the development of 3D house types models
• Providing technical support for the operating regions on a day to day basis
• Coordinate the house type and product development process making sure they meet
• Current regulations and standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experienced in residential design – ideally on large scale developer led projects
• Background of working directly with clients and team management would be beneficial
• Strong AutoCAD skills
• Revit experience would be desirable but training will be offered
• Excellent knowledge of residential building regulations and NHBC standards would be essential
• Drivers licence.
