Role & Responsibilities

• Manage full cost consultancy services across pre contract and post contract stages for large scale developments
• Lead cost planning cost control and procurement strategies ensuring accurate financial management throughout projects
• Oversee contract preparation negotiation and supply chain engagement to support efficient delivery
• Prepare and manage cost reporting budget reconciliations and financial tracking across project lifecycles
• Administer site valuations contractor payments and ensure compliance with contractual requirements
• Supervise junior team members supporting their development and ensuring consistent delivery standards
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide clear commercial advice across project teams
• Promote use of technology and data to enhance service delivery and improve operational efficiency

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum six years experience as a Cost Consultant or Quantity Surveyor within consultancy or developer environment
• Strong experience delivering hospitality projects particularly hotel developments across full project lifecycles
• Proven ability to lead commercial management from feasibility through to final accounts on large schemes
• Excellent knowledge of cost planning cost control reporting and procurement processes
• MRICS or MCIOB professional accreditation supporting industry recognised competence
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline supporting technical expertise
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong analytical and reporting capabilities

Salary & Benefits

• Salary ranging from £65,000 to £80,000 depending on experience and leadership capability
