Role & Responsibilities
- Lead complex heritage and conservation projects from early design stages through to final completion on site
- Work closely with consultants heritage specialists and clients to coordinate multidisciplinary project delivery
- Manage project teams while mentoring junior staff and supporting professional development within the studio
- Oversee technical design detailing and ensure compliance with UK Building and Planning Regulations
- Undertake contract administration duties including site inspections reporting and contractor coordination
- Ensure conservation principles are maintained throughout design development and construction stages
- Contribute to bids proposals and client presentations supporting ongoing business development activities
- Coordinate project programmes deliverables and resources to ensure successful and timely project outcomes
Skills & Experience Required
- ARB registered Architect with minimum seven years post Part 3 UK professional experience
- Proven experience delivering heritage or conservation projects across a range of building types
- Strong knowledge across RIBA stages two to six with detailed technical delivery experience
- Proficiency in Revit AutoCAD and NBS for producing technical design and project documentation
- Excellent leadership organisation and communication skills within collaborative project environments
- Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning processes relating to heritage schemes
- Experience managing teams and coordinating consultants across complex multidisciplinary projects
- Hand drawing and graphic presentation skills desirable for design development and client communication
Salary & Benefits
- Salary £44,000 – £56,000 depending on experience and qualifications
- Hybrid working with two days working from home per week available
