Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of Clerk of Works services across multiple construction projects
• Manage and mentor a team of four Clerk of Works professionals
• Act as the primary client contact regarding construction quality and inspection matters
• Undertake site inspections and monitor construction quality against project requirements
• Identify defects non-compliant works and quality issues across active developments
• Build strong relationships with key clients while maintaining excellent service standards
• Support business development activities and identify opportunities for additional services
• Ensure accurate reporting documentation and compliance with internal quality procedures

Skills & Experience Required

• Extensive experience working within construction quality inspection or site management roles
• Previous line management experience with responsibility for developing team members
• Strong understanding of construction methods materials trades and industry regulations
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively
• Experience identifying construction defects snagging issues and quality concerns
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different construction sectors
• ICWCI membership desirable or willingness to work towards accreditation
• Mechanical and electrical Clerk of Works experience would be advantageous

Salary & Benefits

• Salary of £55,000 – £60,000 depending on experience
• £5,000 annual car allowance provided in addition to base salary
• Home-based position covering Nottinghamshire Leicestershire and South Yorkshire
