Role & Responsibilities

• Act as Principal Designer under the CDM Regulations 2015 across a diverse range of projects
• Provide CDM Client Adviser services and advise clients regarding their statutory duties
• Plan, manage and monitor the pre-construction phase in accordance with applicable requirements
• Coordinate health and safety aspects of design work to eliminate, reduce and control risks
• Review design risk assessments and support effective communication of identified residual project risks
• Prepare and review Pre-Construction Information and compile appropriate Health and Safety Files
• Undertake site visits to monitor compliance, provide guidance and support project stakeholders
• Develop the existing CDM offering, attract new clients and support future team expansion

Skills & Experience Required

• Hold a relevant degree qualification in construction, engineering or another related professional discipline
• Demonstrate proven experience delivering Principal Designer services or CDM Client Adviser services
• Possess strong working knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 and associated health and safety legislation
• Communicate effectively with clients, designers, contractors and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles
• Manage multiple projects while developing the CDM service and supporting wider team requirements
• Show experience leading key client relationships and developing business through new and existing clients
• Demonstrate proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite for professional project and business activities
• Hold a full driving licence and be able to undertake required project site visits

Salary & Benefits

• Circa £50,000 – £60,000 salary for the position
