Role & Responsibilities

• Lead building condition surveys, quinquennial inspections, and technical reports across varied project sectors
• Prepare and oversee schedules of condition, schedules of repair, and expert advice for clients
• Take full responsibility for project delivery, including contract administration and project management duties
• Manage projects from inception to completion while maintaining programme, quality, and client communication
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, local authorities, and statutory bodies throughout project stages
• Advise on technical challenges and provide expert guidance across a range of building types
• Support architecture and interior design teams through coordinated surveying input and technical leadership

Skills & Experience Required

• BSc Hons degree in Building Surveying or an equivalent relevant building surveying qualification
• MRICS qualified or actively looking to achieve chartership through continued professional development
• Minimum of five years UK experience working within Building Surveying roles or consultancy environments
• Strong technical knowledge across building pathology, refurbishment, and construction processes
• Previous experience with listed and historic buildings is highly desirable for this senior role
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while leading teams effectively and professionally
• Proven experience in contract administration and project management across building surveying assignments
