Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver a full range of building surveying services including defect analysis, dilapidations, and condition surveys
• Manage refurbishment and new build projects ensuring delivery aligns with programme, budget, and quality expectations
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships while providing clear and professional technical advice
• Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and schedules of work to support project delivery
• Assist with contract administration duties including inspections, valuations, and project monitoring activities
• Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and relevant legislation across all surveying and project work
• Support and mentor junior surveyors, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing across the practice

Skills & Experience Required

• Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline with strong academic and technical grounding
• MRICS qualified or actively working towards chartership with a clear commitment to professional development
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, maintenance strategies, and building pathology principles
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within a consultancy or client-facing environment
• Understanding of Building Regulations and awareness of Principal Designer duties within project delivery
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations and Health and Safety requirements across construction and surveying activities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to produce clear technical reports and engage with stakeholders

Salary & Benefits

• Salary range of £55,000 to £65,000 depending on experience and professional qualification status
