Role & Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery across multiple fire engineering projects, ensuring consistent quality and compliance
• Oversee quality assurance processes and chair technical design reviews to maintain high standards
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing technical delivery with commercial and programme objectives
• Mentor engineers and graduates, supporting their development and progression within the team structure
• Develop and implement standardised processes, tools and outputs across fire engineering projects
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a technical representative for the organisation
• Lead specialist technical initiatives, contributing to research, development and continuous improvement strategies

Skills & Experience Required

• MSc or equivalent qualification in Fire Engineering or closely related discipline
• Significant experience within a fire engineering or building services consultancy environment
• Strong understanding of UK building regulations and RIBA stages across varied project sectors
• Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards professional accreditation with recognised institution
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to structured team development initiatives
• Strong communication, technical writing and analytical problem solving skills across complex projects
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of technical delivery and compliance
