Role & Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale projects from inception to completion, ensuring technical quality and compliance with regulations
- Manage multiple live projects simultaneously, delegating tasks effectively to junior team members
- Prepare detailed specifications and technical packages to support construction and delivery processes
- Coordinate design teams and consultants to ensure integrated and efficient project delivery
- Oversee project delivery including statutory compliance, programme management and quality assurance
- Lead client engagement, presenting technical solutions and maintaining strong professional relationships
- Manage project finances including fees, invoicing and overall profitability across project stages
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven track record delivering complex projects from design through to completion within the UK architecture sector
- Strong technical expertise with Revit and BIM workflows including coordination and documentation
- Ability to produce detailed specifications and manage technical design packages effectively
- Experience coordinating consultants and leading small project teams within multidisciplinary environments
- Knowledge of modern methods of construction, net zero carbon design and sustainable building strategies
- Understanding of refurbishment, repair, reuse and deconstruction approaches within project delivery
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently
- Excellent communication skills with confidence engaging clients, stakeholders and project teams
