Senior Architectural Technician - Kent

am working with a practice in Maidstone and they have an exciting role available for a experienced Urban Designer to join their existing team..

The practice have over 14 years’ experience in architectural design with expertise across the industry from domestic developments and new builds. Working with private clients, developers and planning consultants, design a range of styles from the contemporary to the traditional and from single units to large-scale schemes.

The practice are committed to providing a comprehensive multi-disciplinary service
at all stages of project development, from the preparation of feasibility studies to the final completion of a project.

Having worked on a varied portfolio of projects in London, South East England and
in and around the UK. Architectural projects include new builds, renovations of listed
buildings, alterations and additions to houses, as well as commercial developments.

You will be responsible for the preparation and overseeing of conceptual urban design
and planning work, feasibility studies, master planning, development briefs and design
strategies for residential and mixed use schemes for developers and private clients.

In addition to this, you will be expected to manage multiple projects in respect of timescales,
meeting with clients and project teams. The role requires someone that is capable of maintaining the highest standards of client care as well as the ability to win new business. You will be able to work under pressure, manage your time effectively and work towards deadlines.

Requirements

• A professional qualification in Urban Design
• 5 years post-grad experience in Industry
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent people skills
• Work well independently and with other team members
• Experience of planning polices
• Experience in managing multiple sites
• Proficient using AutoCAD packages

Salary £40,000 or negotiable depending on skills and expertise.
