Senior Architectural Technician (Contract) - Bosham, West Sussex

Our client is a small private practice, based in modern offices near Chichester, West Sussex, They were formed by the proprietor who has been practising in the South for over twenty-five years. The practice also has a satellite facility at Gatwick Airport.

The team experience has been very broad based with Residential, Commercial, MOD special projects, Special diagnostic units for Health Service trusts and Airport Projects.

The practice is experienced in numerous procurement methods including traditional, design and build, develop and construct and partnering.

Our client is now looking to recruit a Senior Architectural Technician to join their team in Bosham, near Chichester, West Sussex, on an initial contract basis.

The successful candidate will ideally be HNC qualified, or equivalent, with previous experience in a similar role.

You will have excellent knowledge of current building regulations with the ability to produce working drawing packages on CAD. You will work well both in a team and under your own initiative.

As a small office, you will be expected to take on responsibility to match your capabilities and get involved with all aspects of projects, so experience in the design aspects of architecture is advantageous.

Job running ability would also be beneficial.

The position is to initially work on a large commercial project, turning a warehouse into offices, but there would also be a wide variety of residential projects to get involved in.

Proficiency on AutoCAD is essential.

Our client is offering an ongoing contract up to £22 per hour for ideal candidates, with potential for the contract to last as long as the candidate wants.
