Due to current growth, the practice is looking for a project-running Senior Architectural Technician to join its senior team. The company offers a friendly studio culture, flexible hours, ongoing CPDs, free parking and the option for home working on Fridays.

Role & Responsibilities

• Take a lead role in running projects and coordinating delivery from stage 4 onwards
• Produce accurate technical drawing packages and detailed information for residential, commercial and education projects
• Speak directly with clients and act as the main point of contact for projects
• Take personal ownership of projects while supporting quality, programme and technical delivery requirements
• Liaise regularly with team members, contractors and third parties throughout project delivery stages
• Provide technical support to colleagues and help resolve design issues with practical solutions
• Attend site as required to support onsite delivery and maintain accurate project communication

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum of ten years professional experience within relevant architectural or technical project sectors
• Proven ability to work independently while taking responsibility for project running and delivery
• MCIAT accreditation is highly desirable for this senior technical project running position
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential for producing detailed technical drawing packages accurately
• Experience running projects and supporting onsite delivery through later technical work stages
• Ability to resolve design issues using innovative solutions and strong technical judgement
• Background working in residential or education projects would be advantageous for this role
• Strong communication skills with ability to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues and contractors

Salary & Benefits

• Salary range of £50,000 – £59,000 depending on experience and technical capability
