Senior Architect - Shoreditch, London

A creative design studio with a diverse team of 16, who have just celebrated their 10th birthday. The firm have a strong reputation for producing well-crafted, contemporary projects on an international scale; and following a recent, hugely successful exhibition, they are expecting an influx of work to add to their already broad portfolio of private houses, hotels, restaurants, commercial spaces and interiors.

Recent projects include an 80 room hotel in a prime London location, a new penthouse storey comprising a new bedroom suite and rooftop restaurant/bar for a highly anticipated hotel, and a 20,000sq ft office fit out scheme.

The firm are at a crucial point in their growth, have a solid portfolio of future projects and plans to continue to expand over the next 12 months.

Role & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading a number of projects, from bespoke houses and boutique hotels to large-scale commercial and residential developments, through RIBA stages 4-6.

Required Skills & Experience

• RIBA Part III qualified (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years’ post qualification UK experience
• A solid understanding of UK building regulations and planning standards
• Demonstrable experience leading projects through RIBA stages 4-6
• Confident in managing and leading small teams
• Confident coordinating and liaising with external consultants and Local Authority Planning Departments
• Fluent in the use of AutoCAD

Salary & Package

The successful applicant will be offered a salary of circa £40,000, plus the following benefits:

• Travel Allowance of £90 per month
