Senior Architect / Director Designate

Our client is a successful architectural practice focusing on design and planning work in the residential sector. Based in South West London, this small team works on a range of projects from domestic extensions through to medium sized developer led projects of 100+ units including both new build, refurbishment and change of use projects. Contract values range between £0.5 – £2million.

A fantastic new opportunity now exists for a talented Senior Architect to take leading role in this growing business, with the view of becoming a full Director within 6-12 months. The successful candidate will be required to take on a number of responsibilities including; the management of projects, working directly with clients, managing the design team, producing design and planning drawings and dealing with new client enquiries.

Candidates wishing to apply for this position must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• Be Part III qualified and ARB registered with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience.
• Experience working in the residential sector in the UK.
• Excellent knowledge of UK planning and building regulations.
• Confident and comfortable in a client facing role.
• Excellent drawing and sketching skills.
• The ability to manage an internal team

With plans to double the size of the business in the coming years, this is a key appointment for the business and the successful applicant will be offered the very real opportunity to progress into the role of a Director within 6-12 months.
