Job Summary
Senior Architect Job Chelsea is now available with a collaborative studio working on prime residential projects in London. This Architecture role focuses on high-end and super-prime residential schemes, including refurbishment, extension and detailed delivery work.
You will join a supportive studio of six people with a strong focus on work life balance and collaboration. The role offers responsibility for running projects across all RIBA stages, with an initial large-scale high-end residential refurbishment and extension in SW London.
You will produce tender and construction packages, coordinate consultants and resolve site queries. This Senior Architect Job Chelsea suits someone with strong residential project running experience, contract administration knowledge and a proactive approach within a busy studio.
About the Company
Established in 2009, this studio works primarily in prime London locations including Chelsea, Belgravia, Knightsbridge and Mayfair. The office has six staff and has developed a supportive and collaborative culture. The studio aims to grow a solid team that develops, strengthens and stays together.
New ideas and suggestions are welcomed and discussed across the practice. The role offers work on exceptional residential projects with flexible hybrid working, development opportunities and regular team socials. The office hours are 9am to 5pm, with additional flexibility for childcare commitments.
Role & Responsibilities
- Produce detailed tender and construction packages including construction details, services drawings and schedules
- Prepare finishes, ironmongery, room elevation and joinery elevation packages for high-end residential projects
- Liaise with local councils, building control, inspectors and consultants throughout project delivery stages
- Prepare and develop drawings, surveys, appraisals, concept layouts and final planning layouts
- Coordinate professional consultants including building control, engineers, interior designers and wider project specialists
- Supervise and coordinate junior in-house team members to complete tender packages accurately
- Source materials, develop details and create schedules supporting high-quality residential project delivery
- Attend site meetings, provide support and resolve queries arising during construction stages
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum five years post Part III experience with residential project running and contract administration
- Proven experience working on medium to large scale high-end residential projects in London
- Super-prime residential experience with strong understanding of detail, quality and site delivery requirements
- High-end interiors experience would be beneficial for coordinating finishes, joinery and design details
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp for design and technical production
- Strong organisation skills with capacity to prioritise workloads across multiple live project requirements
- Ability to work proactively and autonomously while contributing positively within a busy studio
- Excellent written and verbal English with eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship
Salary & Benefits
- Salary range of £50,000 – £55,000 depending on experience and suitability
- Flexible hybrid working, with three days per week required in the office
- Flexible start times available for childcare commitments and improved working balance

- 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays and additional Christmas closure provided
