Revit Architect / Technician - Islington, London

Established in the 1950’s, the practice is renowned for their expertise within the Residential sector, working on projects from high density, urban city apartments to the regeneration of challenging estates. They are committed to a progressive and sustainable architecture that enhances the environment and lives of all of those who use and experience our buildings and designs.
The scope of their expertise is wide ranging and encompasses the design of single family dwellings to housing for the elderly. Whilst housing remains the core of the business, their work continues to span across many different and diverse sectors, including master planning, education, community and workspace.

Role & Responsibilities

Working within a team of 16 you will be brought in to work on a number of housing associations, supported houses and regeneration projects. To begin you may specifically be assigned to a £17m residential scheme in Hackney that has just recently moved into construction stages.

Required Skills & Experience

• Part III qualified or qualified as an Architectural Technician (My client may also consider Part II Architectural Assistants with extensive experience within the residential sector)
• Experience working on residential projects within the UK is essential for this position
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Experience working on a variety of residential project types, including affordable housing and residential schemes
• Proficient in using Sketch-up and Photoshop is highly advantageous
• A strong knowledge of UK building regulations and standards
• A high level of technical expertise
• The ability to produce construction drawing package of a high standard
• Highly articulate and able to communicate to clients and colleagues on all levels
• Well spoken and written English language

Salary & Package:

£35,000 to £45,000 dependant on experience
