Residential Interior Designer Job in London

Residential Interior Designer job available with in Knightsbridge, London. This role will suit an enthusiastic designer with a well-rounded background and a passion for all-things-FF&E. Salary up to £37,000

A leading design practice established almost three decades ago now has a sister company. Their little sister is working on cutting edge interiors and is looking for a talented interior designer to join their team. The studio covers all aspect of high-end residential design, from concept through to completion and offers a friendly work environment and the opportunity to work on super projects.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design and develop different stages of residential projects under the guidance of senior designers
• Assist with schedules and design intent package to ensure brief is being met
• Assist with designing and costing up FF&E projects
• Check that thorough administrative records are being maintained
• Assist with FF&E design, furniture plans and pricing on projects ready for sign off
• To prepare and develop presentations, conceptual drawings, mood boards and other concept materials
• Develop project knowledge, attend trade fairs and supplier meetings.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years’ professional design experience
• Design Degree or Design Diploma from recognised Interior Design School/Higher Education
• Track record of designing a portfolio of projects
• Ability to liaise with clients interpreting and delivering their requirements
• Knowledge of high-end residential FF&E procurement processes
• Good technical design knowledge and skills
• Experience in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
