Role & Responsibilities

• Carry out Level 2 and Level 3 residential property surveys in line with RICS standards
• Assess and document structural issues, defects, and areas requiring remedial works
• Produce clear, detailed, and client friendly reports following site inspections
• Maintain professional communication with clients, agents, and stakeholders throughout projects
• Ensure surveys are completed within agreed timelines and quality expectations
• Manage workload effectively across multiple residential survey instructions
• Provide accurate advice on property condition and associated risks
• Support continuous improvement of reporting standards and service delivery

Skills & Experience Required

• MRICS qualification with strong experience in residential property surveying
• Proven experience delivering Level 3 building surveys across varied residential properties
• Strong knowledge of building pathology, defects, and construction methods
• Ability to produce clear and concise reports for a range of client audiences
• Excellent communication skills when liaising with clients and stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple survey instructions while maintaining quality outputs
• Experience working within a consultancy or private practice environment preferred
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for site visits
