Our client is a Gloucestershire based local authority with a large housing stock spread across the county. An opportunity now exists for a Repairs & Maintenance Officer to join the Tenant Services Team on a 6 month contract basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent.
Role and Responsibilities:
Site inspections/surveys
Void surveys
Repair and Maintenance reports
Adding work requirements to internal database
Post works inspections
Skills and Experience Required:
Extensive experience within the social housing sector
A background in the maintenance and repairs of social housing stock
Experience dealing with damp and mould issues.
The successful applicant will be joining to Tenant Services Team and will report directly to the Maintenance Manager. While the role is initially offered on a 6 month contract basis, there is the potential for the role to be extended on a permanent basis.
Salary & Benefits:
The role offeres an hourly rate of between £14-£16 per hour.
