Quantity Surveyor Job in Sevenoaks

Quantity Surveyor required for a multidisciplinary consultancy based in Sevenoaks, working on remedial cladding/façade projects in London and the Southeast. Offering a salary of up to £70k + Bonus + Travel. You will ideally be RICS accredited or working towards with experience in cladding / façade works for a contractor or consultancy. You will be joining a growing consultancy, with a strong pipeline of new build, regeneration and remedial projects for both public and private sector clients.

The consultancy offers a multitude of services to include project management, surveying, cost consultancy, and design management, and specialise in residential and affordable housing projects for developers, RPs, and Local Authorities. Made up of around 65 employees and 3 offices, they are continuing to grow with a strong pipeline of work across London, Midlands and the Southeast.

Role & Responsibilities

• Maintaining contractor database
• Take off quantities
• Prepare and issue contractor enquiries
• Complete documents for tender
• Tender appraisals
• Post-tender negotiations
• Maintain contract documentation and advise on pre-tender and post contract matters
• Preparation and issue of contractual letters to clients and / or contractors
• Post contract liaison with contractor’s design team
• Process interim valuations
• Manage and process variations
• Agreement of final accounts

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Must have cladding/facade experience
• Ideally MRICS or working towards but not essential
• Experienced in working for contractor or consultancy
• Residential New Build project experience will also be advantageous
• Ability to work across multiple projects
• UK Driving Licence and own car
