Our client is the Architectural Practice of the Year in the Building Awards 2007. Our client is a firm of architects, urban designers, master planners and landscape architects working in both the public and private sectors in the UK and Europe.
Since its foundation in the 1960’s our client has undergone considerable change and currently employ around 300 people. They design high quality architecture and have offices in London, Surrey, Milton Keynes, Manchester and Southampton. Their range of skills and services has grown in response to the ever increasing complexity of projects and whilst residential design remains at the heart of their work, they are increasingly concerned with designing for communities and all that this entails. Mixed use projects, health buildings, housing for the elderly, schools, shops, workplaces and leisure buildings are now an established part of their workload.
Our client is now looking to recruit a talented and self motivated Project Leader to join their team based in EC London.
The successful candidate will be RIBA Part III or HNC/HND qualified, or equivalent, with experience at a senior level within UK private practice.
You will have experience of liaising with client/contractors and the design team with the ability to identify and overcome problems. Due to that nature of this project leading role the successful candidate will have experience of running a team, project management and delegating work. Urban design skills would also prove highly beneficial.
Our established client currently has commissions within various sectors which include housing association, residential and commercial with projects ranging in size from 20 houses and flats to 300 unit developments. This opportunity offers diversity and the challenging role will enable the successful candidate to excel in their career.
AutoCAD literacy is essential.
The successful candidate may be eligible to receive a competitive salary dependent on experience along with additional benefits such as a pension scheme after a qualifying 3 month period and healthcare package.
Our client are a member of Investors in People and are currently double winners of Architectural and Regeneration practice of the year, therefore they are keen to facilitate continued professional development where candidates can enjoy a complimentary lunch within a social environment at the weekly internal CPD seminar.
If you have the required skills and experience for this role please forward your CV ASAP to ting.lee@hunterdunning.co.uk. (If you have any examples of work please email this also).
