Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead residential projects across all RIBA stages, ensuring delivery meets programme, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Manage project coordination with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout each design and construction phase.
  • Oversee contract administration duties, ensuring compliance with project specifications and contractual obligations.
  • Produce and review detailed technical drawings from general arrangements through to construction level detailing.
  • Ensure all designs comply with planning requirements, building regulations, and technical standards.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and professional project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve technical issues to maintain programme targets.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum three years post qualification experience within an architectural practice environment.
  • Proven experience delivering residential projects across all RIBA stages from concept to completion.
  • Strong technical knowledge with ability to produce detailed construction and joinery drawings.
  • Experience running projects independently with confidence managing multiple project requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and internal team members.
  • Experience using ArchiCAD is beneficial, with training provided for candidates with transferable skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to manage deadlines and project priorities effectively.
  • Portfolio demonstrating technical drawings from 1:50 general arrangements to 1:5 detailed design work.

Salary & Benefits
