Role & Responsibilities

• Manage large scale fire safety projects across all RIBA stages ensuring compliance and technical delivery
• Lead and mentor engineers, surveyors, and consultants to maintain high performance standards
• Provide expert fire safety advice aligned with current regulations and industry best practice
• Oversee project budgets, invoicing, and programme management to ensure commercial success
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to support delivery of project objectives and outcomes
• Support business development activities to secure new instructions and maintain client relationships
• Identify development opportunities within the team and support continuous professional growth
• Report to senior leadership and collaborate across teams to ensure consistent service delivery

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum five years experience within fire safety or building consultancy environments
• Professional membership such as MRICS, MCABE, MIFIREE, MCIOB or working towards accreditation
• Strong understanding of fire safety design and regulatory frameworks across building types
• Knowledge of UK compliance processes and construction related legislation
• Experience managing and mentoring junior team members within a consultancy setting
• Understanding of building pathology, materials, and construction typologies
• Experience with cladding systems, facade assessments, and EWS1 processes is desirable
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for project related travel

Salary & Benefits

• Salary between £60,000 and £75,000 depending on experience and capability
