Role & Responsibilities

• Lead fire engineering teams to deliver multiple projects across various sectors and project stages
• Manage technical delivery of large or complex projects ensuring compliance and design accuracy
• Develop fire strategies and provide consultancy services aligned with UK regulatory requirements
• Support and mentor Fire Engineers to enhance technical capability and team performance
• Attend design team meetings and represent fire engineering input throughout project lifecycles
• Manage internal and external enquiries while maintaining strong client relationships
• Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities and supporting growth strategies
• Prepare detailed reports, engineering designs, calculations, and specifications for project delivery

Skills & Experience Required

• Engineering Council accredited BEng Hons, MEng, or MSc within fire engineering or related discipline
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards professional registration such as CEng or IEng
• Membership of a recognised fire engineering body or working towards MIFIREE accreditation
• Minimum seven years experience within fire engineering consultancy environments
• Proven experience delivering fire engineered solutions across UK based construction projects
• Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation, regulations, and design guidance standards
• Experience with active and passive fire protection systems within complex building designs
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines

Salary & Benefits

• Salary range between £65,000 and £90,000 depending on experience and level
